Travel Methods
So it's time for an interstate trip. The reason why you have to skip town could be any number of things. A road trip, a cross country blind date, a major family incident, a new job opportunity, a vacation, and of course, just to move far away from your problems and start a new chapter in life. Regardless of the who, what, where, and why, the biggest question is how will you get to your destination? Consider the five best travel methods. 1.By Plane Statistically speaking, planes are the safest way to travel. But that doesn't convince many aviophobic passengers who are not so much afraid of flying, as they are afraid of suddenly not flying! If taking an airplane is really the safest among travel methods, why does there seem to be so many crashes covered on the news? The reason is that all of the crashes you hear about are major events—and very much out of the ordinary, since hundreds of planes take off and land in a given day with no problem. 2.By Train Traveling by train is one of the most enjoyable travel methods, if you don't mind the bumpy ride...or the waiting. Trains are often delayed in interstate travel, and what could look like a three day vacation can easily become a five day waiting period for a variety of reasons that cannot be prevented. Don't take the train system unless you really enjoy the ride—you may be waiting for a while. |

3.By Bus
Taking a bus is one of the cheapest travel methods you can find, as bus fare is usually 50% cheaper than plane or train fare. Buses have natural disadvantages though. They are not as safe, since they are driven manually for hundreds of miles and do not offer much in the way of comfort or amenities, certainly not compared to a train or plane. 4.By Car Rental Renting a car is arguably the cheapest option among travel methods, though rising gas prices is quickly making it much more of a task than it used to be. Traveling by car is probably the most dangerous way to travel, as you are constantly on the road, and must drive defensively, uninterrupted, for long hours. 5.By RV Traveling by recreational vehicle is becoming one of the most popular travel methods, so much so that many people are starting to RV full time. Now that Internet access is available practically anywhere, and that RV parks are affordable and luxurious, many people prefer to travel the more enjoyable and economic way, by simply taking their vacation house wherever they need to go. Whatever your preferred choice of travel, remember to stay alert and think cautiously at all times. |
