Hobbit Travel is a travel agency that has been in the running for over twenty five years. Calling themselves the Low Fare Company, they offer a variety of travel packages and flights from departure terminals in the United States. Hobbit Travel's website can be found by entering the address www.hobbittravel.com into your web browser or searching for "Hobbit Travel" on Google or Yahoo and taking the first link that comes up. Unlike many travel web sites, Hobbit Travel does not have a search engine for fares on the front page, but rather a series of image links to their deals on flights, hotels, Hobbit Travel vacation packages, and cruises.

The Hobbit Travel agency seems to specialize in specific hot deals on air flights and Hobbit Travel packages from locations in the United States to popular vacation destinations throughout Mexico and the tropics. Under "Packages" on the main page there is a link that says "View Hobbit HotDeals"; when you click on this you find a lot of great package travel deals for amazing prices, some of them under five hundred dollars for international flights. The only limitation is that these most recent deals, which appear to be the best on the site, are only applicable if you leave from a certain departure gateway - but if you're looking for a quick vacation out of the country you should definitely give these deals a look, because the prices are pretty incredible.

Hobbit Travel packages also include ski vacation packages and golf oriented travel packages. They had an interesting golf travel package up when I reviewed the site that offered four nights air and hotel at a golf resort in Nevada for about six hundred dollars, which seems like a pretty good deal.

There are several phone numbers you can call to ask for information about Hobbit Travel on their front page, and their Customer Service seems well organized with information on their three locations in Minnesota where you can talk to a Hobbit Travel agent, as well as information on passport requirements, travel insurance, corporate travel, and more. All in all, if you're planning a vacation from the United States I suggest that you check out this site and see if you can find a deal that's right for you!
